About Inzinx

Built for the moment a business rule stops matching what got built.

Inzinx exists to close the gap between the people who define business rules and the systems that are supposed to enforce them — without either side waiting on the other.

The problem we set out to solve

Business teams already know their eligibility rules and pricing logic in detail. What repeatedly breaks down is the handoff — rules described in a document or a meeting, re-interpreted in code, and only caught as wrong once it's live and something qualifies (or is priced) that shouldn't.

The gap
Business people hand over rules and decision factors. Engineering builds against them — and small gaps or misreadings turn into incorrect implementations.
The cost
Every gap becomes a defect, a bug ticket, a round of back-and-forth to re-explain the rule — and, over enough cycles, lost credibility on both sides.
The fix
Business rules get defined directly, visually, by the people who own them — no translation step, no dependency on a development team's availability.

With Inzinx, the business rule is the implementation. The person who owns the rule defines it directly in a visual interface — no dependency on a development team's backlog. Engineers still own the integration, but their part becomes calling one API and wiring the result into a UI or another system, not re-encoding logic they don't own.

Where this matters most

Insurance is a clear example: eligibility rules and rating logic are often genuinely complex — layered conditions, tiered pricing, exceptions on exceptions. Underwriters need that logic to reflect real underwriting judgment, not a simplified version an engineering team had time to build. With rules defined and versioned directly by the people who understand them, underwriters get logic that actually matches their intent, and engineering gets a stable API instead of a recurring rules-translation project.

To be clear about what that speed actually buys you: for regulated lines, a rate or eligibility change still needs your own regulatory approval before it can go live — that process doesn't change. What changes is everything after approval. The moment your filed change is approved, it goes live the same day, not whenever engineering can fit in a deploy.

Founder

Inzinx is built and run by a technologist with more than 25 years in the IT industry, including over 5 years focused specifically on insurance-industry technology — building and delivering systems for insurance companies across the US, UK, Middle East, and Africa. That work kept surfacing the same pattern — business people defining rules and decision factors, and the eventual implementation quietly drifting from what was actually meant, discovered only after it shipped. Inzinx is the direct answer to that: put the rule-defining in the hands of the people who own the rules.
